When you were a kid, were there any early activities that might indicate you’d one day become a skydiver?
I was 4-years-old the first time I stepped foot on a dropzone and discovered the world of skydiving. I then (impatiently) waited my entire childhood for it to be my turn… worth the wait!
What was the circumstance that led you to the DZ for the first time to make your very first skydive?
Knowing how long I had been waiting (and begging) to skydive, my step-father surprised me with a tandem skydive at Skydive New England for my 18th birthday. Best birthday gift ever!
What made you want to continue skydiving after your first jump?
EVERYTHING. Hook, line and sinker, I had fallen instantly in love. There was no turning back.
What’s the best / most memorable skydive you’ve ever made?
Nothing will ever compare to that first skydive in 2010, but since then I’ve experienced so many amazing and memorable skydives throughout the country with my friends and boyfriend. And of course, Meaghan Meehan.
What advice would you give to someone thinking about jumping for the first time?
Don’t think, just do.
